SALES AND MARKETING

OUR MANDATE

Our number one mandate is to increase the sales of the products we represent.

King Marketing prides itself on providing our represented vendors and manufacturers with a team of experienced, knowledgeable, and engaged sales representatives. Our number one mandate is to increase the sales of the products we represent.

King has professional key account managers who can call on the head offices of the major retailers in Canada.

King also has tenured reps who work the Regional and Provincial key accounts. Unlike other smaller rep groups King also has a team of sales representatives that call on the dealer stores. In this way we ensure your products are “front of mind” with the buyer, but also “front of shelf” in the stores.

REPRESENTATION AT HEAD OFFICE

Our team begins by ensuring we know as much as possible about your product line; learning about the competition and researching the current offerings at the customer base.

1

With this knowledge, we strategically present your products to the decision makers at head office.

2

Manage on-line sales activities by updating products listings, photos and conducting price shops.

3

Complete all “paperwork” associated with setting up skus and implementing best practice plan-o-grams.

4

Introduce new products when appropriate and suggest items that should be discontinued.

5

Develop and present promotional and seasonal calendars.

6

Plan, coordinate, set-up and attend customer trade shows on behalf of our vendors.

REPRESENTATION IN-STORE

Our regional representatives are your brand champion at the dealer store level. They are the key ingredient when it comes to maximizing sales opportunities.

  • Our reps provide important product knowledge to the store staff. An empowered and knowledgeable staff member becomes a brand advocate for your products.

  • King reps inform the stores about new product introductions and help remove and clear out discontinued items.

  • Implement the best practice plan-o-gram.

  • Install and maintain P.O.P. materials.

  • Build and install displays and then check that they are clean, complete, and functional.

  • Seek out, build, and maintain off-shelf placements for your products, including stack-outs, end-caps and clip strips.

  • Deal with defective merchandise by checking and then authorizing returns.

  • Conduct surveys including competitive price shops.

  • Implement store mapping exercises and surveys to provide a comprehensive overview of our represented manufacturers products in comparison to competitors or the department as a whole.
